As well as welcoming single folk and families to stay in a dedicated self catering studio in the house,we can also welcome groups of up to 8-10 people to spend the day with us. This may be for a day of quiet or for a day of creative spirituality using your hidden talents to produce a drawing, painting, wood carving, cut gemstone, icon or photograph. With Richard's help you can find ways of bringing your creative talents to the forefront whilst enjoying your retreat.

Alternatively we can tailor a study theme to suit your choice.

and others - please discuss your interests with us. Groups may also wish to allow part of the time during their day here for walking or visiting the Roman Wall - We can provide some very interesting information on the Roman sites and life in the area.

We ask for a donation of about £8 per person for a quiet day, £10 per person for a day workshop, and £10 per person plus travelling costs for guided tours of the Roman sites (entry fees are not included). Morning and afternoon refreshments and a light lunch are provided when the day is spent at the house.

For larger groups, we are happy to come to you and offer our workshops, for traveling expenses plus a negotiable charge.
